Operation Theatres
Two fully equipped modern operation theatres are available with state-of-the-art surgical
equipment. These include equipment for intra-operative patient monitoring and an image
intensifier (on the spot x-ray screening) during surgery that allows manipulation of
fractures and dislocations accurately.
A wide range of general surgical, orthopaedic, and urological operations as well as
laparoscopic and arthroscopic procedures are undertaken. Urology operations include
surgical treatment for kidney, bladder, ureteric calculi and stricture urethra.
Day care surgeries, where patients need not be hospitalised overnight, are also done.
Advanced facilities such as FNAC, Image Intensifier, Operative Microscope, as well as a
mobile portable x-ray unit, which helps to take bedside x-rays for patients confined to
bed, are also provided.
