Patients and their families have the following responsibilities: |
1. Respect and value the hospital rules and regulations while paying a visit or approaching for consultations.
a. Visiting Hours (except ICU) 10:00 Hrs. to 12:00 Hrs ---18:00 Hrs. to 20:00 Hrs.
b. No visitors are allowed inside the ICU except one (1) close relative at a given time when needed.

| 2. Show consideration for and deal with other patients and staff with respect. |
| 3. Respect the privacy of other patients. |
| 4. Provide complete and accurate information about present complaints, past illnesses, hospitalizations, treatments, known sensitivities to medication and any other matter relating to your health. |
| 5. Follow the healthcare provider’s instructions. |
| 6. Accept responsibility for refusing treatment or not following the treatment plan, even after the risk of not following it has been explained. |
| 7. Avoid delay in taking appointment from the appointment office |
| 8. Attend the appointment on time. If you want to cancel, inform the appointment section 24 hours in advance. |
| 9. Respect the priority given to the emergency cases. Appointments maybe rescheduled or postponed at the last minute due to unavoidable circumstances. |
| 10. Observe safety regulations, including the ‘no smoking’ policy. |
| 11. Ensure that financial obligations of your health care, if any, are fulfilled promptly. |
| 12. Give the requested samples and take the medical check ups on time, without delay. |
| 13. Avoid bringing valuable personal things to the hospital since the hospital is not responsible for them. In emergency cases only, you can give these valuables to the nurses in the presence of security staff, after you sign on the related documents. You have to keep a copy of it and ask the person who received your valuables to show his/her identity, taking into consideration that the hospital is nevertheless not responsible for any consequences whatsoever. |
| 14. Mentally imbalanced patients must always be accompanied by a family member or a guardian to serve as an escort. |
